VAD Qatar & Pure Storage hosting Mannai Networks for a Special Day on Banana Island Resort Doha

VAD Technologies Qatar and Pure Storage invited the Team of Mannai Networks for a special Team-Building Day on the Banana Island Resort. The Iconic small Island in Qatar is located off the coast of the capital city of Doha. It is a natural island in the Arabian Gulf and home to “Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara”. The Resort offers a number of Activities, such as bowling, diving, kayaking, snorkelling, stand-up paddle boarding and a surfing simulator.

Mr. Mario M. Veljovic, General Manager of VAD Technologies, welcomed the Team On Board and addressed the Event Attendees during the 15 min boat crossing to the Island.
After an amazing welcome ceremony by the Resorts Crew, Pure Storage’s Channel Manager Mr. Ziad Azar kicked off the Partner Training by giving a detailed explanation of why the Partnership with Mannai Networks is of special importance for Pure’s growth in the State of Qatar. Furthermore, he stressed the fact that Pure Storage is an unrivalled Leader in Primary Storage in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for 8 consecutive Years.
 
Mr. Mert Baki, Pure Storage’s Partners Technical Manager for EMEA Emerging, East Europe, Middle East & Turkey trained the Team on the features of the Pure Partner Portal, which gives Pure’s authorized partners around the world access to unique program benefits and discounts. Furthermore, the Portal allows Partners to Register deals, get up to speed on our technology portfolio, and start marketing with Pure.
 
Before the Attendees went for Lunch at the Resort’s AL NAHHAM Restaurant, Mr. Mohamed Elgallad, Pure’s Systems Engineer, gave a detailed Presentation about Pure’s Product and Solutions Portfolio. An emphasis was made to the fact that Pure is redefining the storage experience and empowering innovators by simplifying how people consume and interact with data. Something which is of upmost importance for Enterprises working in accordance with the Qatari Digital Transformation Vision.
 
Last but not least, the Fun part started with a Bowling Competition, before we sailed back with a breath-taking Sunset above the Skylines of Doha.
