VAD Technologies’ General Manager receives “Distributor Executive of the Year” Award

The Future Workspace Summit & Awards concluded on a very successful note on Thursday July 16th, 2022 at the Address Skyview Hotel in Downtown Dubai. The event organized by CXO DX, the leading media platform for CXOs in the region and Leap Media Solutions, brought to the fore various aspects of Technology’s impact on the future of work.

After the Day long Summit filled with various keynotes by speakers from leading vendors and 4 panel discussion, there was an Awards gala where Awards were also presented to leading vendors, distributors and SIs in different niches. Furthermore, some outstanding individuals from Sales & Marketing roles at leading vendors and distributors.
 
Mario M. Veljovic, the General Manager at VAD Technologies, was recognized as “Distributor Executive of the Year” in honour of his Contribution to the Regional Distribution Landscape.
 
Mario has been a veteran of the ICT industry and held various Senior Management positions at leading ICT distributors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Through the course of his +25-year long career, he has built and executed strategies that have helped transform organizations from Traditional ICT Distribution to Value-Added Distribution with a focus on Next-Generation and Disruptive Technologies. He came to the Middle East as early as in 2003 and has joined VAD Technologies as the General Manager in 2017.
 
On receiving the Award Mario commented: ”It’s a big Honour for me to be awarded by CXODX as the “Distribution Executive of the Year” in 2022. Those who know me well, know how much I love what I am doing and the Technology Distribution Industry as a whole. This Recognition makes me very proud and it means a lot to me.
