MV: VAD Technologies LLC is an established IT and Technology value added distributor, headquartered in Dubai, UAE. Catering Enterprise and SME markets through a strong channel footprint across Middle East and North Africa. Delivering world-class technology products and solutions to transform the IT landscape. What is the company’s primary objective at GITEX 2018? MV: For VAD it’s all about strengthening our existing Relationships with Vendors and Partners, as well as building many new ones. GITEX is the Key Event of the Year for the ICT Industry and all that are actively involved. How does GITEX continue to be a relevant platform? MV: As most of the Key Senior Executives are in Town, Gitex still remains a key venue to finalize new Agreements and seek more investments into the Regions Channel Ecosystem. How should partners ensure GITEX is successful for them? MV: Gitex helps to build new Relationships, but as it grows year on year, everyone should have a clear Plan of what to see and who they should meet. Partners should look out for new disruptive and innovative Solutions this Gitex. Do some research before stepping into the Show. What does innovation mean to your organization? MV: Innovation for VAD means constantly thriving for ways to add value to our Partners and help achieve their business goals. Is innovation a question of doing more with less, or does it demand high investment? MV: It’s about Thinking out of the Box and spending quality time with Partners to understand where real value can be added. But yes, ultimately great innovations will help to drive faster ROI and lower TCO. Do organisations in the Middle East have the luxury of being able to work on innovation-driven projects? MV: I would rather see Innovation-Driven Projects as a necessity to stay relevant to our Business Partners. Are organisations in the Middle East waking up to the need to innovate or face being put out of business? MV: Absolutely, it’s a necessity to stay relevant to our Business Partners.
